Artwork is divided into three main categories;
Prints, Painted Feathers and Feather Prints
Please click on a gallery to view its contents… Prints and Feather Prints are
typically readily available to ship, however the Painted Feathers are usually on a
‘made to order’ basis. I do always have some ‘in stock’, but this particular gallery is
more to provide samples. Please use the contact link to inquire about anything

About Melissa Ball

Melissa Ball is a Pennsylvania artist who is especially noted for her unique and highly detailed artwork on turkey tail feathers. Melissa has been using turkey feathers as her canvas for over 25 years. Each feather is entirely hand painted with acrylic paint. Visit the samples page to see the wide variety of sizes and subjects.

In addition to painting on feathers, Melissa is also a print artist. Her focus on the wild turkey has led her to a long standing relationship with the National Wild Turkey Federation. Melissa won the NWTF’s Grand National Art Contest in 2001, and has since had a painting featured in their national core package 12 times. During that time, Melissa was named the NWTF’s Featured Artist of the Year, and Stamp Print Artist twice. Her most recent painting, “Little Shed Hunters”, is in the current offerings for 2025.
