Painted Feathers
Any feather art that is featured on this site is hand painted on wild turkey feathers. Each is painted one at a time, so no two will ever be exactly alike. Every feather in itself has its own character even before any paint is applied.
Feather art can be ordered in three standard sizes with a base price as listed. Custom options and variations from standard, such as more elaborate paintings or adding a second feather are available in all sizes as well…contact Melissa with your pictures or ideas for pricing.
Covert Feathers
Standard covert feathers come double matted and framed in a 5×7 and are priced at $150.
Medium Feathers
Standard medium feathers come double matted and framed approx 8×12 and are priced at $325.
Tail Feathers
These are the largest of the feather paintings, they also offer the most variations of subject and layout. Some are done on single feathers, many have a couple feathers put together to maximize the painting area. This gallery shows all ORIGINAL Paintings on feathers, many of these are also available in a print on the ‘Feather PRINT’ gallery page. Custom Orders
Custom orders are just that…custom original paintings from photo reference and ideas provided by the customer. Pricing for a custom Covert Feather starts at $200, custom Medium Feather starts at $375 and Custom Tail Feathers start at $475.
